FEUERWEHR Lapel Pins

These FEUERWEHR Lapel Pins were specially designed for the Fire Department of Kaltenweide, a district in the Hannover Region of Lower Saxony, Germany. In German, “FEUERWEHR” means “fire department,” making the word an important part of the pin's identity.

The design is based on the Kaltenweide Fire Department logo, which features a shield shape, five symbolic ears of wheat, and half of a windmill. The logo and lettering are stamped into the metal surface, finished with silver plating, and filled with colorful hard enamel. An epoxy resin coating is then added to protect the design while creating a smooth, flat surface.
