Prime Minister Lester B.Pearson shakes Hands with flag-toting Jim Soni in1964 outside the parliament buildings in Ottawa. The student presented Pearson with a petition supporting his proposal for a maple leaf flag. The three-leafed maple was a motif taken from the red ensign, Canada's unofficial flag at the time, and would later inspire the look of Kent of Inglewood. The maple leaves lapel pins, made by GSJJ.com, an enamel pin maker. It is crafted by hard enamel, die struck with a gold finish. The process is very delicate. Each of the maple leaf lapel pins is individually poly bagged and secured with a butterfly clutch back. GSJJ.com can provide many different custom pins at the lowest price.
