Mary Hall Freedom House is a place that empowers women to break the cycle of addiction, poverty, and homelessness for themselves and their children. Founded in June 1996, Mary Hall Freedom House, Inc. was established to address the need for residential substance treatment services for women in the Metro-Atlanta area. In 1998, the organization also began providing housing to homeless women and their children. Since its humble beginnings with just one apartment and two women, Mary Hall Freedom House now has the capacity to house and serve over 200 single women and more than 75 children on any given day, restoring over 500 lives annually and serving over 5,000 women since 1996.
