GSJJ AI Data Protection Policy

At GS-JJ, we use AI as a tool to help customers express their ideas and complete designs more efficiently. We respect the rights of designers, brands, businesses, and customers to control their original works, commercial designs, and data. This policy explains how GS-JJ’s AI tools work, how customer data is processed, and how we will not use your designs.

GS-JJ does not develop, train, or operate its own generative AI foundation models.
Our AI Designer uses APIs to access AI services from third-party providers such as Google and OpenAI to generate designs based on user-submitted text descriptions, design requirements, and necessary reference materials. We do not use customer data to train or improve third-party AI models, nor do we use customer works to train, fine-tune, or develop GS-JJ’s own models. To protect customer data, we take the following measures:
• The API Projects we use are configured by default not to use API data for model training.
• We have not enabled Data Sharing, Model Improvement, or similar data-sharing features.
• We follow the principle of data minimization and only transmit data to APIs that is necessary to fulfill the current design request.

Your designs are not GS-JJ’s AI training data.GS-JJ does not use customers’ original designs, logos, illustrations, brand materials, design requirements, order design files, or AI-generated results to train, fine-tune, or develop its own AI models, nor do we create AI training datasets based on customer works.

We follow the principle of data minimization and process relevant data only to provide the services you request and meet necessary security, operational, and legal requirements. Customer data does not automatically become AI training material that GS-JJ is free to use simply because it is processed by our systems. Beyond these necessary purposes, we do not use customer designs for AI purposes unrelated to the services.

We understand that customer designs may contain original works, trade secrets, or other important intellectual property. Submitting a design to GS-JJ for quotation, design, sampling, or production does not mean that you authorize GS-JJ to use the design to train AI models.
If you have additional requirements regarding design confidentiality, intellectual property protection, or data use, we can arrange an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) upon request to clarify the confidentiality responsibilities and obligations of both parties. GS-JJ uses third-party AI services through paid API agreements rather than uploading customer designs to publicly available consumer AI tools. We configure these services according to the applicable data policies and available controls of the APIs we use, and prioritize established AI service providers with clear enterprise data protection and API data use policies.
For example, OpenAI’s API services default to not using API inputs and outputs to train models unless the customer actively chooses to share such data. For Google Gemini API projects with billing enabled, prompts and responses are not used by default for product improvement or model development; different data-use rules may apply if the project owner actively chooses to share data.We refer to and comply with the applicable API data and privacy policies of the third-party service providers we use, including, but not limited to, Google and OpenAI.
Because these providers’ policies, technical features, and data retention rules may change over time, and because they may process or retain certain data to the extent permitted by their policies for security monitoring, abuse prevention, legal requirements, or technical reasons necessary to provide their services, GS-JJ does not make absolute claims that cannot be verified regarding third-party systems beyond our technical and contractual control.
GS-JJ will continue to monitor relevant policies and adjust our data protection measures based on the actual capabilities of the services we use.

AI technology and related data policies continue to evolve.
