Custom soft enamel keychains are crafted through a precise multi-step process.
First, your design is stamped or die-cast into a metal base (usually zinc alloy or iron), creating raised metal lines and recessed areas (Molding).
Then, the metal base is plated with your chosen finish like gold or silver (Plating). Next, liquid enamel paint is injected into the recessed areas using a syringe (Coloring).
Finally, the keychains are baked in an oven to cure and harden the enamel. Because the enamel settles slightly as it dries, it creates the signature dimensional, textured look that soft enamel is famous for (Baking & Finishing).

Free Metal Colors: You can choose Shiny Gold, Shiny Silver, Shiny Copper, Black Nickel, Antique Gold, Antique Silver, or Antique Copper for free. 
Free Dyed Colors: We can dye the metal borders into colorful colors like Black, Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow for free. 
Premium Upgrades: Two Tone: Add shiny gold and silver together on one keychain for an extra $1.03 per piece.
Rainbow Finish: Make it rainbow-colored for an extra $0.90 per piece plus a $46.80 mold fee.

To ensure your final keychain perfectly matches your vision, please provide the following documentation: Vector File Formats: We highly prefer .AI, .PDF, or .EPS files. Vector files allow our production team to scale your design perfectly without any loss of quality.
Color Codes: Please specify your colors using the Pantone Matching System (PMS). This guarantees that the liquid enamel colors mixed in our factory exactly match your brand's colors.
Line Thickness Note: Ensure that the metal lines separating your colors are at least 0.2mm thick so the metal mold can be formed successfully.

Size Options: We offer 9 standard sizes based on the longest side of your design: 1" (25.4mm), 1.25" (31.8mm), 1.5" (38.1mm), 1.75" (44.5mm), 2" (50.8mm), 2.25" (57.2mm), 2.5" (63.5mm), 2.75" (69.9mm), and 3" (76.2mm). If you are not sure, you can just click "Recommended Size".

Standard Thickness: Our keychains are generally 3.0mm thick. This thickness is very strong, does not bend easily, and feels heavy and high-quality in your hand.

Bumpy Feeling: Soft enamel leaves the metal lines raised up, so you can feel the design with your fingers. Many people like this bumpy, textured look better than the flat surface of hard enamel.
Cheaper Price: Soft enamel takes less time and fewer steps to make. Because of this, it costs much less than hard enamel, especially when you order a lot.
More Colors and Options: It is easier to make small, thin details with soft enamel. It also works great with colored metals (dyed metal) and antique, vintage looks.

Yes! We use high-quality metal bases with professional zinc alloy and iron platings, making your custom enamel keychains resistant to rust and safe for daily outdoor use.

Better Protection: Yes. The clear plastic layer (epoxy) covers the paint completely. This stops the colors from getting scratched, dirty, or fading, making your keychain last much longer on a keyring.
Smooth Look: The clear epoxy fills in the low parts of the design. This makes the whole surface flat, shiny, and smooth, so it looks like expensive hard enamel but costs way less.
The Cost: Adding the epoxy option costs an extra $0.13 per piece. We highly recommend it if you plan to use the keychains every day.
