In the world of “Camp”, the vast majority, including church camps, have been around for over 60 years. Spirit in the Pines Camp is the new kid on the block, or in the woods, as the case may be. St. Andrew Lutheran Church purchased Pine Manor Resort in 2001, and began transforming the property. After raising funds, remodeling cabins, and building the lodge dining hall, Spirit in the Pines opened for youth campers in 2004.
